Classic combos in one delicious sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 4   slices Whole wheat bread
  • 6   Tbsp. Peanut butter
  • 4   Tbsp. Chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 2   Chiquita Bananas, sliced

Instructions for:

Toast bread slices until lightly golden. Spread peanut butter on each bread slice. Swirl chocolate hazelnut spread over the peanut butter. Top with banana slices and enjoy.

Variations: Substitute the chocolate hazelnut spread with honey. For a decadent twist, caramelize the banana slices in a little melted butter and brown sugar before adding to the sandwich.

Serving Suggestions:
Use cookie cutters to cut out fun sandwich shapes for kids. Also makes a great sandwich to take on a hike; simply top with another slice of toast, cut in half or quarters and wrap to go.

    Another variation would be to use a dark chocolate spread in place of the hazelnut spread. Or, add some shaved dark chocolate to the peanut butter.
