Caprese salad goes fruity with watermelon, Chiquita Bananas, and fresh basil. Get out of your comfort zone and try our twist on this classic.
Ingredients:

(personal size) Seedless watermelon
- 1/4 tsp.
Sea salt
- 2 tsp.
fresh Lemon juice
- 2
ripe Chiquita Bananas
- 4
fresh Basil leaves, or more if desired.

Slice watermelon into 8 ½-inch slices. Cut a round slice out of each watermelon slice using a 4 to 5-inch round cookie cutter or by cutting around a small round bowl or plate; set aside. Reserve remaining watermelon for another use. Combine sea salt and lemon juice; set aside. Peel bananas and cut each into thin coin-shaped sliced. Place half of the watermelon rounds on salad plates. Top with half of the banana slices. Place remaining watermelon rounds on top of the banana slices. Top rounds with remaining banana slices. Drizzle the lemon juice-sea salt blend over the fruit. Slice the basil into thin ribbons. Garnish the fruit with the basil and serve immediately with additional basil for garnish, if desried.
