Here's a simple and delicious way to add protein to fresh fruit and juice.

Ingredients:

  • 2   whole Chiquita Bananas, sliced
  • 3   oz. silken Tofu
  • 1/4   cup chilled Pineapple juice
  • 1/4   cup Orange juice

Instructions for:

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Variations: Add 2-oz. protein powder. For a smoother version substitute 3 oz. non fat Greek vanilla yogurt for the silken tofu.

    the recipe says serves 2---so each serving would be 150 calories, total of ~300 calories for the recipe.

    It needs more protein to warrant the name. It's tasty, but use protein powder instead (or with) to REALLY make it a protein power smoothie.
