Yum-o! If you like bananas these are great! However I used craisins instead of nuts. My 2first year old absolutely lives them! Highly recommend recipe!

this is basically a normal no bake cookie recipe, just adding bananas. no need to complain everyone! I think the problem is not in the recipe but in something you are doing ... do not cook the oatmeal. and sometimes i freeze no bake cookies and they harden quicker.

Very upset that they are so gooey!! maybe more of the oats would help. Love the flavor but had to store cause they all stick together. Had to keep mine in the fridge.

The flavor was good but as my five year old said as he threw half a cookie away.. They're too slimy ... Or muddy ;-)

I roll the batter in foil and freeze. Just slice 1 or 2 at a time and freeze. Great with a cup of coffee for breakfast!

I forgot to mention, these are best if you leave them in the fridge and eat them cold.. if you leave them out at room temperature that's when they get gooey.

Yuck!!! I just wasted a lot of ingredients making this. Bananas just don't belong in no bake cookies!

Cook until it begins to thicken then add oatmeal and remaining ingredients and beat by hand until it thickens before spooning onto wax paper.

They taste good but mine didn't set. I am going to make another batch but bring the sugar to a rolling boil and see if they set.

The cookie dough tasted really nice, but after keeping them in refridgerator for colling,my cookies were still mushy and soft. So will it be ok ,if I try baking,or putting them in the microwave and heating it for about 5- 10 minutes. Pls advice.

Could be the vanilla extract that does not allow it to firm up.

Tried making these tonight and they did not come out right at all. They have been in the fridge for almost 2 hours and they are still wet. The only substitution was I used 1% milk, but I can see that would make too much of a difference. I also left out the coco powder out, but it says it is optional. Really wanted these to work : (

Sorry..........but this sounds totally hideous. Anyone with a smidgeon of baking skills should be able to make a decent cookie. This "no bake" recipe is a total disaster.

wow, people should calm down! no bake recipes have been around forever and this one is spot on. the only difference in my ages old no bake recipe and this one is sugar-and im sure to account for the sugar in the bananas for nut free allergies, just sub "nut" free butter. thanks for showing me how to add bananas to my traditional no bake cookies!

Will NOT set-up or harden. After making these, we decided (my daughter and I) to read reviews. Wish we had done so BEFORE as it was a complete waste of time and ingredients. Had to throw them away - even tried freezing. This recipe should be removed from this site - horrible!!!

This is not a good recipe. It taste good but will not firm so you can pick them up. I even tried adding more oatmeal, but no luck. Then I tried baking them they did firm up but then the taste was different and I didn't like them.

They sound delicious, except-It seems that the oatmeal should be cooked?? You say the 1st four ingredients-not the oatmeal? Please respond---lmk715@hotmail.com

I just listened to the video, his measurements match what is written. Maybe they fixed it, so I will give it a try, got 3 very soft bananas that I don't want to throw away at 69 cents a pound.

I tried to make this last night, with a serving size of 8. (Had 2 bananas to use up.) It came out all wet and goopy - definitely couldn't roll them like the video shows. The recipe above doesn't say to put them in the refrigerator, but the video says to refrigerate for 1 hour. They'd been in the fridge for 12 hours when I left this morning and were still not hardened. If they're still like that

Hey Ladies - the reason the recipe amounts are different is this: above the recipe there is a place to put in the number of servings. The site defaults to 12. If you change the servings and hit the recalculate button, the recipe changes.

I am doing a cooking class for grade school kids, we used this recipe, they loved it, not only the mixing it up but the flavor, we chose to use cocoa powder and no walnuts because of allergies! A Big Hit!

Curious as to why there is such a discrepancy in the ingredients listed and those featured in the video. Was considering trying to make them, but I don't want to waste the ingredients if it doesn't work well.

What if you have a child with a severe peanut allergy I know there are some no bake recipes that can be made with out the nuts and peanut butter. How about thinking of children with those kind of allergies as an alternative to the original recipes.

Watching the video and reading the ingredients don't match up. Measurements are way off but I'm going to go ahead and make them the way the video says. Hoping they are good!

The ingredients list does not match the video, so I changed the list to match the video, excited to try and see what happens. I've made this with just chocolate and peanut butter and it's always turned out great. Best kept in freezer
