Blend lemon, honey, yogurt and a banana for a super smoothie recipe and a big boost of energy to take on any activity. Our fans love this Chiquita BananAde Smoothie recipe and we hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients:

  • 2   whole Chiquita Bananas (with brown peels*)
  • 3   cups Ice
  • 1   cup Milk OR Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1/2   whole Lemon to squeeze
  • 1   Tbsp. Honey

Instructions for:

Pour all ingredients in blender pouring ice in last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until smoothie thickens.

* Brown bananas work well for smoothies; however, you can use less ripe bananas, too, such as yellow bananas with brown flecks.

    half a lemon was not enough to change the taste maybe you should put a whole lemon with the peel to make a difference.... just my 50 cents.....

    It's pretty good. I put syrup because I didn't have honey. And I added a little vanilla extract.

    not with the peel... bananas with brown peels are whar you use. take the banana out of it's peel befor eating. this is delicious! my kids LOVED it.

    Was easy to put together, testure was great, but really did not do much for the taste buds. I had to add cinnamon to it and some oatmeal and a splenda packet to give it any flavor besides the yogurt. Some of the other recipes are much better than this one.

    You can eliminate the honey of you use vanilla yogurt. Try this with a slight sprinkle of nutmet on top. Yum!
